Posted Wednesday, June 24, 2009 - 06:18 PM by vtran (1155 Reads)
Under New Management (podcasts)

Sabrina Deutsch Salamon at York University’s School of Administrative Studies talks about how managers’ trust in their employees can enhance their employee’s feelings of responsibility for the organization, which in turn positively affects organizational performance.

Morela interviews Sabrina Deutsch Salamon about her research on trust and the advantageous effects that nurturing manager trust in employees may have on organizational performance. Sabrina proposes that employees who feel trusted by their managers think more about how to achieve organizational goals in a manner that does not hurt the organization, rather than about how to maximize their personal objectives with little regard for the organization.
